We don't have a Field Day chairperson this year. Instead we are putting together a Field Day planning committee. The committee will organize the Field Day schedule, plan and book the Field Day program, solicit by letter for donations, recruit volunteers and other small tasks. We would like to add 2-4 more people to our planning committee. If you are interested, please use the contact us section below and let us know! We hope to have our first committee meeting soon.
The February Trash for Cash collection is Thursday, February 28. Please be sure to turn in all your items. Although we have collected enough generic caps to order a bench, we still NEED Coke brand caps for Trash for Cash. PAWS earns money to help pay for many of our sponsored events at SES from Coke Rewards. Visit the fundraiser tab to see which class is in the lead for the end of the year snack party.
Our March meeting will be Thursday, March 7, at 6:30 in the SES library. Items on the agenda include The Science Fair/Art Exhibit, The Toy & Clothing Sale and The Walk-A-Thon. The class that has the most parents in attendance wins a prize for their classroom.
Our annual Toy & Clothing sale will be Saturday, April 6 from 8 a.m.-noon in the SES cafeteria and gym. Vendors can rent a 10 x 10 booth space for $20. This is a great oppotrunity to sell your items that your children have out grown. Crafters and direct sales vendors are welcome too!
